Quite a sporty course at the beginning, not recommended for children under 9 years old due to the fairly long duration of the course. Passage of 2 dam slides (Langeac and Le Chambon), numerous beaches for breaks and swimming.
To see from the river: Chapel of Ste Marie des Chazes, Chanteuges village and abbey, Blot cliff, perched village of Chilhac, peninsula and enclosure of the priory of Lavoute-Chilhac.
